Summary of Terms & Conditions for Boarding or Day Care

This summary explains the key points of your agreement with Tori Lynn Crowther Limited trading as TLC. It does not replace the full Terms & Conditions, which remain legally binding. Our licence is with Calderdale Council and the number is HBO0070.

1. Accepting Our Services

By booking or using TLC’s boarding or daycare, you agree to all Terms & Conditions. TLC may act as your dog’s temporary guardian and take reasonable steps to protect their health and safety.

2. Your Responsibilities

You must:

• Complete all required registration information

• Keep vaccinations, flea and worming treatments fully up to date

• Provide an emergency contact who is aware they may be called

• Be honest about your dog’s behaviour and any issues that may affect care

3. Fees & Payments

• Booking fees are non‑refundable

• Booking fees can be transferred only with 30+ days’ notice

• Care fees must be paid to your care provider

• Overpayments to TLC’s Monzo account may incur an admin fee

• Invoices must be paid within 7 days

• Late payments may incur admin fees, interest, and recovery costs

• Payments must be made in full without deductions

4. Cancellations

For boarding:

• 30+ days’ notice: No care fee charged; booking fee transferable

• 7–30 days’ notice: 10% of care fee payable

• Less than 7 days: 50% of care fee payable Booking fees are always non‑refundable.

For daycare:

• One month’s notice is required to cancel ongoing arrangements

5. Changing Daycare Days

You may swap regular daycare days if space allows. Swapped days must be used within 3 months and are non‑refundable. Extra days can be added and will be charged at the agreed rate.

6. Liability & Insurance

You are responsible for any veterinary or other costs caused by or to your dog. TLC’s liability is limited to £1,000 or the total fees paid, whichever is lower. You should ensure your dog and home insurance policies cover daycare/boarding arrangements.

7. Transport & Off‑Lead Walking

Your dog may travel with other dogs in TLC vehicles. You agree TLC is not liable for injury or death caused by a vehicle accident. You give permission for your dog to be walked off‑lead.

8. Behaviour & Suitability

• You must disclose any behavioural issues

• TLC may refuse or end services if a dog is unsuitable

• Male dogs over 18 months must be neutered

• Young unneutered males may be removed from group walks if behaviour causes issues

• Female dogs in season cannot attend for at least 4 weeks

• Fees remain payable unless TLC can re‑sell the space

9. Health & Safety

Dogs must stay up to date with vaccinations and parasite treatments. Crates may be used for rest, feeding, or safety when appropriate.

10. Closures

TLC is closed on bank holidays and between Christmas and New Year. Refunds or replacement days are not offered for these closures.

11. Media Consent

You consent to TLC using photos or videos of your dog for promotional purposes.

12. Legal & Administrative Terms

• TLC is not responsible for events outside its control (force majeure)

• The contract is the entire agreement between you and TLC

• Any changes must be agreed in writing

• Invalid clauses do not affect the rest of the contract

• Notices must be provided in writing

• No third party can enforce the contract

• The contract is governed by English law

• Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales
