PET CARER AGREEMENT

FULLY INSURED

For all my clients

I will always be fully insured for any accidents that may happen as a result of me taking care of the pet. I am aware that this may not cover breed specific accidents or illnesses.

LICENCE

I will have a licence when required

I will always have a licence when required. A licence is always required for day care, home boarding or kennels.

INFORMATION AND INCIDENT UPDATE

Always keep updated

I will always inform my clients of any incidents that may have happened. However, if this is related to a missing dog, I am aware that the best thing to do initially is not always inform the client as there are many other things to do.

A CURRENT ID TAG

This is law

I will always ensure my dog has a current ID tag and if not, will ensure my client is aware of this

COLLAR, HARNESS AND LEAD

For walking and travel

I will always ensure my dogs are transported and walked safely, abiding by all local laws

MAXIMUM DOGS

Whenever I am walking clients dogs

I will never walk more dogs than is legally allowed. In most places this is 6, in some it is 4. This includes my own dogs and I am aware that my insurance is null and void if I have more than legally allowed.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

I will ensure my client can see a copy

I will always make a copy available for my clients to read whenever possible

HOLIDAY AND COVER

Notice

I will ensure that my clients are aware of any planned time off as much in advance as possible and will let them know what will happen in cases when I can not give a service when planned.

TREAT ALL PETS AS MINE

Mine

I agree to treat all pets as though they were my own and give them care and consideration I would give to my own pet

TERMINATION OF CONTRACT

End of Dog Walking

I promise to give a minimum of a months notice if terminating a contract without exceptional circumstances. If I need to terminate the contract due to ending my dog walking career or moving aread, I will try to help my clients find a suitable replacement.
