About

Specialist walks and support for dogs who need something different.

Not every dog is suited to a regular group walk, and that's perfectly okay.

Champion's Walks have been designed for dogs who may struggle in typical dog walking environments or who require a more experienced, personalised approach. These are the dogs that many dog walkers won't accept, but at TLC we understand that every dog deserves safe, professional, and compassionate care.

This service is suitable for dogs who may be reactive, anxious, nervous, lacking confidence, selective around other dogs, recovering from difficult experiences, or simply need more individual attention than a standard walk can provide.

Each session is completely tailored to your dog's needs and may include carefully managed walks, confidence-building exercises, enrichment activities, training support, environmental exposure work, or simply providing them with a calm and positive experience away from home.

There is no "one size fits all" approach. We work with the dog in front of us, adapting every outing to suit their emotional wellbeing, safety, and individual goals.

Where appropriate, some dogs may gradually be introduced to carefully selected walking companions. However, these introductions are only undertaken when safe, beneficial, and in the best interests of all dogs involved.

Our focus is not simply exercise. We aim to help dogs develop confidence, improve coping skills, make positive choices, and enjoy the world around them at a pace that suits them.

Because every dog deserves the opportunity to succeed.

Our Approach

Champion's Walks are led by experienced professionals who understand canine behaviour and recognise that many behavioural challenges stem from fear, anxiety, frustration, lack of confidence, or unmet needs rather than stubbornness or dominance.

Led by Tori Lynn Crowther, qualified professional dog trainer, we use practical handling skills, enrichment, management strategies, and reward-based methods to create positive experiences for the dogs in our care.

Our priority is always safety, welfare, and emotional wellbeing. We never force dogs into situations they are struggling with and we always work at a pace that is appropriate for the individual dog.

For some dogs, success may look like calmly exploring a quiet field. For others it may mean learning to feel more comfortable around distractions or building confidence in new environments. Every achievement matters.

We celebrate progress, not perfection.
