A premium solo outing for dogs who love variety, enrichment, and personalised attention.

The VIPaws Adventure is our most immersive one-to-one walking experience, ideal for energetic dogs, curious explorers, dogs who need individual support, or those who simply deserve something extra special. Every adventure is tailored to your dog's personality, preferences, energy levels, and needs on the day.

Activities may include varied walking routes, enrichment games, scent work, light training exercises, confidence-building activities, play, or relaxed exploration in suitable environments. No two VIPaws Adventures are exactly the same, but every session is designed to leave your dog feeling fulfilled, content, and happy.

For dogs who benefit from carefully chosen canine companionship, we may occasionally include a suitable walking companion where appropriate and safe to do so. Any introductions are carefully considered to ensure a positive experience for everyone involved.

VIPaws Adventures are generally around one hour in duration and are not usually available during peak group walk times.

Our Walks: Enriching, Flexible, and Tailored to Your Dog's Needs

At TLC, our walks are guided by the needs of the dogs rather than strict time limits. We don't believe every dog benefits from the same routine or the same style of walk. Instead, we focus on creating experiences that provide both physical exercise and the mental stimulation that dogs need to thrive.

Some walks take place in secure fields, but these sessions involve far more than simply walking. Dogs may enjoy scent games, searching for treats or toys, training exercises, enrichment activities, social interaction, and plenty of opportunities to explore their environment using their natural instincts.

We also use a variety of circular and countryside routes where, whenever safe and appropriate, dogs can enjoy off-lead freedom. This allows them to move naturally, make choices, investigate scents, explore their surroundings, and engage with the world in a way that is both enriching and rewarding.

Every walk is carefully planned around the dogs attending, their personalities, abilities, and individual needs. As a result, some walks may occasionally be slightly shorter or longer depending on factors such as weather conditions, location, the dogs present, and what is best for them on that day.

Our priority is always quality over quantity. We want every dog to return home happy, mentally satisfied, physically exercised, and looking forward to their next adventure.

Price Note

Dogs located in Northowram, Shibden, Shelf, and Hipperholme are covered by our standard advertised price.

An additional £1 per walk applies to dogs located in Halifax Town Centre, Lightcliffe, Queensbury, Boothtown, Wyke, Wibsey, and within approximately one mile of these areas.

An additional £2 per walk applies to dogs located in Sowerby, Ripponden, Denholme, Brighouse, Low Moor, Elland, Stainland, and other surrounding locations further afield.

Additional Support Needs

Our standard prices cover the vast majority of dogs in our care, including many nervous, energetic, adolescent, or occasionally challenging dogs.

However, some dogs require significantly higher levels of management, supervision, handling expertise, training support, or bespoke arrangements in order to walk safely and successfully within a group setting.

Where a dog requires ongoing additional support beyond that normally provided on our walks, a supplementary charge may apply. This will always be discussed openly and agreed with you in advance following assessment.

Any additional charge reflects the extra time, specialist handling, staff resources, and individualised support required to ensure the safety and wellbeing of your dog and the dogs around them.

Our aim is to keep dogs included wherever possible, not excluded.

Unlike large, impersonal walking groups, we keep our groups small and carefully matched. This enables us to create calm, safe, and enjoyable walking experiences where every dog receives the attention they deserve and is surrounded by suitable companions.

Each walk is thoughtfully planned to meet the needs of the individual dogs involved. Whether your dog prefers a gentle stroll, a social group walk, an enriching adventure, or dedicated one-to-one support, we adapt our approach to help them feel comfortable, confident, and fulfilled.
